On March 29-April 1, 2018, a national youth convention was held in the South Union of Brazil, at the church property in Itu, São Paulo.
The youth convention was themed "The Best Things in Life". Guest lecturers included Brother Eli Tenorio (GC Secretary), Brother Rodney Martins (guest speaker), and several speakers from all over Brazil. Approximately 600 individuals registered and attended the event, and about 700 were present for the weekend meetings. Attendees came from all over Brazil, as well as neighboring countries, many arriving in buses after long trips.
Those who had never visited the Media Studio were also given the opportunity to tour the sets where several programs are recorded and streamed. The event meetings were livestreamed, reaching thousands of individuals who could not attend the event.
Lectures included: The Salvation Trilogy, Choosing the Best Life, The Pursuit of Happiness, Born to Win, The Best Things of Life, and the Manual for Stressed Youth. You can find the sermons (in Portuguese) on the Connected with God Youtube channel here.
The children had their own special event running in one of the media studio buildings where they had classes and activities. In between the lectures, there was plenty of time for recreation and fellowship with friends new and old.
