This spring, we were blessed to perform the first three baptisms by the Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement Church in the nation of Cuba.

As of earlier this year, the Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement Church had only one member in Cuba. Brother Ricardo had come to know the Reform Movement in Roanoke, VA where he was baptized thereafter. In the last year, the General Conference has intensified the work in Cuba, sending a Bible worker from Venezuela to attend the group. As the work progressed, it was decided that the Cuban church would be assisted by the brethren from the Dominican Republic, as they are closer and can visit more frequently.

On Sabbath afternoon, March 26, 2016, we were blessed to baptize the first three souls that have come to know the Lord as a result of the work in Havana, Cuba. Brother Ernesto Barahona, the President of Dominican Republic Field, baptized Brother Ricardo's wife, Sister Dolores, as well as Brother Juan Carlos and his wife, Sister Ana.

Another baptism is planned for June of this year, and plans are underway to purchase a property on which to build our first chapel in Cuba.

May the Lord continue blessing the work in Cuba that it may prosper for His glory. Amen.
