Sunday, June 26, 2016, was a high day for the church in Puslinch, Ontario, and the East Canadian Field Conference as the Koert family sealed their covenant with the Lord through baptism.

Sunday, June 26, 2016, was a high day for the church in Puslinch, Ontario, and the East Canadian Field Conference as we had the opportunity to witness the Koert family—Brother Arend, Sister Yvonne, Martin, and Ashley—sealing their covenant with the Lord through baptism. On this day our church was rejoicing and there was great joy in heaven as these dear souls entered into the family of God.

At 9 a.m. on Sunday morning we met at the Puslinch Church and proceeded to Emerald Lake—a place in nature surrounded by lovely evergreens.

On the banks of the lake, we joined our voices with the beautiful hymn "Redeemed! How I love to Proclaim It!"  As the candidates prepared to enter the lake, Elder Walter Lukic read from the Scriptures in the book of Romans, words of encouragement as he expressed his great joy for this baptismal service.

Elder D. Burca officiated in the baptismal ceremony.  In heaven above, and with great joy here by the lake, we witnessed the immersion of these dear souls into the watery grave in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost as they raised anew in the Lord.

Back at the church, the right hand of church fellowship was extended to each member of the Koert family, thus welcoming them into the family of God. We commemorated this wonderful event with certificates of baptism, a Spirit of Prophecy book, and fresh red roses.

Songs of praise were sung and many youth and children responded to the altar call. A special prayer was offered that these young hearts may be fully committed to the Lord.

We then celebrated the Lord's Supper, followed by the opportunity for all to express their thanks and praises to the Lord. The service concluded with the Benediction.
