On June 26-30, 2018 a Welfare Evangelism Camp Meeting was held in Santander.

Santander, Colombia—On June 26-30, 2018 a Welfare Evangelism Camp Meeting was held in Santander. There were approximately 800 people present attending the event from the USA, Australia, Brazil, Venezuela, Ecuador, Argentina, Peru, and the Cayman Islands. The participants were housed in tents in the outdoors, and the meetings were also held in a large main tent.

During the camp meetings, the attendees heard lectures on offering welfare assistance to others and how to follow Christ's example to spread the Gospel by making sure physical needs are also met. There were three separate set of meetings going on simultaneously: one for the adults, one for the youth, and one for the children. Every evening and all day on Sabbath the entire congregation gathered for the meetings.

The graduation of 28 BETH-EL Missionary School students also took place during the camp meeting. The incoming class, which is an all women's class of 19 sisters, were welcomed. May we keep them in our prayers.

There was also a baptism of six souls that took place during the camp meetings. Let us also pray for our new brethren.

After the camp meeting, Brother Andre Devai, GC Welfare Department Director, presented a seminar on welfare assistance: ideas and best practices. Brother John Lausevic, a member of the CG Welfare Department Assistance Committee, held a seminar on Organic Agriculture.

May God bless all who attended this blessed event, and may the truths there learned bring forth fruit to His glory.
