Tucumán, Argentina—From July 21-24, 2022, the "More than Conquerors” Youth Convention was held in El Cadillal, in the province of Tucumán, Argentina.
We praise the Lord for the participation and safe trip of brethren from Paraguay, Bolivia, Brazil and the various provinces of Argentina. Brethren Rômulo Borges (GC Regional Secretary for South America) and David Paes Silva (GC Sabbath School Department Director) were the main speakers at the event.
Xaxim, Brazil—The APASCA (Paraná/Santa Catarina Field) Vacation Canvassing took place in the city of Xaxim, Santa Catarina from July 18-27, 2022.
By the grace of God, a group of fourteen participants from various states and countries dedicated ten days of their winter break towards canvassing.
Participants attended a training seminar before setting out. Several houses opened their doors, and we prayed with them and read a passage from the Bible.
Mahoko, Rwanda—On July 16, the brethren gathered at the church property in Mahoko for a special conference entitled: Our Time in Prophecy. Brother John Bosco, GC Regional Secretary for North Africa, was the speaker on Sabbath.
On Sunday, July 17, thirty-one souls were baptized in the SDARM Mahoko Church in Rwanda. The baptism was performed by Pastor Manitagaba Jerald and Pastor Jean Piere. May God bless our new brethren!
Orlando, USA—On July 24, 2022, two souls were baptized in Orlando, Florida, USA. Brother Alexander and his wife, Sister Emmy, were baptized by Brother Abel Barazza.
Brother Alexander had reached out to the Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement Facebook page earlier this year and was placed in contact with our brethren in Orlando. "This year,” he says, "by the grace of God, I accepted the message of the fourth angel of Revelation 18.”
Marusevac, Croatia—The fourth International Youth Convention was held in Marusevac, from July 12 to 17, 2022. The theme was "A Light Unto My Path" from Psalm 119:105. Approximately one hundred young people from sixteen countries, speaking twelve languages, gathered for the event.
