In the South East are found exotic fruits in like durian, mangosteen, marang, lanzones, jackfruit, mangoes, star apples, pineapples, bananas, and soursop which are available in abundance.

Observance of the seventh day of the week as a holy day remains in effect in the new covenant.

Jesus not only kept the Sabbath, but He also taught the right way to observe this day. He said that the Sabbath was established for the good of mankind (Mark 2:27). Jesus performed many miracles on the Sabbath. With this, He demonstrated that the Sabbath is a day especially suited to alleviate people's suffering: "How much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath,"(Matthew 12:12).

On March 17-18, 2017, the Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement Media Studio in Itu, Brazil officially launched its online channel: Connected With God. Present for the Inauguration was Brother Liviu Tudoroiu (GC Evangelism and Media Department Director), Brother Davi P. Silva (GC President), Brother Rômulo Borges (GC South American Regional Secretary) and several other representatives from various locations around the world and the Brazilian Unions.

What is God's plan for the Sabbath? What does true Sabbath-keeping entail? Let us read what the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy say.

“The Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath” (Mark 2:28).

“In the time of the end every divine institution is to be restored. The breach made in the law at the time the Sabbath was changed by man, is to be repaired” (Prophets and Kings, p. 678}.

“[God] shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began” (Acts 3:20, 21).
