On September 5, 2020, the brethren at our church in Liberec welcomed five young people into the Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement family.

Liberec, Czech Republic—On September 5, 2020, the brethren at our church in Liberec welcomed five young people into the Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement family, the youngest of which was fourteen.

 

The baptism was performed by Brother Stoyka Mykchaylo. After the baptism, the new members were fellowshipped at the Liberec Church.

The annual General Conference Council will be held this month beginning on September 15. Due to travel restrictions, the Council won't be meeting at the GC Headquarters in Roanoke this year. Instead, meetings will be held online. We ask that the brethren around the world keep the Council members in their prayers at this time.

Our beloved pastor known on six continents, Bro. D. Sureshkumar, went to his rest in the Lord on August 27, 2020. UPDATED: Information regarding Brother Sureshkumar's funeral now attached to this post.

Dear SDA Reform Movement family,  

May the peace of God be with you.

 

It is with deep sorrow that we inform you that Brother Duraisamy Sureshkumar went to his rest in the Lord in the early hours of Thursday, August 27, 2020.

 

Brother Sureshkumar passed away peacefully in his sleep while visiting his daughter and her family in Texas with his wife and youngest daughter. His son and his family had spoken to Brother Sureshkumar last night. None had any indication that he would not awaken the next morning.

May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with each one of you and your respective families. 

 

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land,” 2 Chronicles 7:14. 

  

Through this letter we invite all our churches to join us for a special Week of Prayer to be held from August 21-30, 2020, with the theme “Our Blessed Hope”.
