On January 22-24, the Good Samaritan Welfare Department began one of its semi-annual humanitarian missions. This year's first mission took place in Chapecó, Santa Catarina.

CHAPECO, BRAZIL - The Good Samaritan NGO is a branch of the SDARM's Welfare Department in Brazil and has satellite branches in the different Brazilian Unions. Every year the organization chooses two locations in which to host humanitarian missions, taking aid and meeting the basic needs of the region's people. Cities are chosen months in advance, and the plans for the project are made, as well as plans for someone to stay in the city to follow up with the contacts made during the mission. Selected for this year's first mission was Chapecó, Santa Catarina.

Making food an ally for good mental health.

It is possible to make food an ally in helping us feel happy. This is because good eating habits can directly aid our well-being.

 

The proper functioning of the nervous system depends on a number of factors such as the release of sufficient amounts of neurotransmitters like serotonin, dopamine, noradrenaline, and acetylcholine for example, which are substances that transmit nerve impulses to the brain for the purpose of causing feelings of pleasure and well-being.

On January 9-15, 2017, the 3rd Music Summer School took place at the South Brazilian Union Headquarters in Itu, São Paulo, Brazil.

For many SDARM young people and brethren, the year started full of music. On January 9-15, 2017, the 3rd Music Summer School took place at the South Brazilian Union Headquarters in Itu, São Paulo, Brazil.

 

During these wonderful days, the students enjoyed classes on music theory, singing, and in practice of their instrument of choice. Classes were divided into three levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Teacher included members of the GC Music Committee: Brother Marcos Pedrazas, Brother Isaac Terceros, and Sister Barbara Montrose.

We live in a world of sorrow and suffering. People all around us are dealing with pain in their lives and yet the majority of us are not actively seeking to be the healing touch in the hearts of our family, friends, and neighbors. Let's talk about how we can.

If 90% of all sickness begins because of hurts and distresses within the heart of man, and if medical missionary work will be the final work and means of helping people, then we cannot be solely focused on food and herbs?
